GRAN EYE is an AI-powered auto-scoring system for steel tip darts.

Using advanced dual-camera AI technology, GRAN EYE automatically detects where your darts land and calculates scores with exceptional accuracy — no sensor board required.

Designed by GRAN DARTS, the system works with most standard bristle dartboards and delivers high-accuracy scoring, throw tracking, and streaming capabilities for practice, home play, and league environments.

This 2025 model uses a wall-mounted installation system with brackets and screws.

📱 Device Compatibility — Check Before Purchase

You don't need the latest high-performance device to use GRAN EYE.

GRAN EYE can be used with a wide range of smartphones and tablets, including older models and entry-level devices.

The best way to determine whether your specific smartphone or tablet is compatible is to run the AI Model Test in the free GranDarts app.

You can perform this test before purchasing GRAN EYE. A GRAN EYE unit is not required to run the test.

How to Check Your Device

Using the smartphone or tablet you plan to use with GRAN EYE:

  1. Install the GranDarts App or update it to the latest version.

  2. Log in to your GRAN DARTS account or create a new account.

  3. Create or select a Steel player.

  4. Tap the camera icon in the upper-right corner of the app's Home screen.

  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to start the AI Model Test.

  6. If the test completes successfully, you can use GRAN EYE with that device.

Examples of Tested Devices

GRAN DARTS has confirmed GRAN EYE operation on the following devices:

  • iPad 6th Gen (released in 2018)

  • iPhone 8 (released in 2017)

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (released in 2021)

  • HUAWEI MediaPad M5 lite 10 (released in 2018)

  • Lenovo Tab M10 Plus (released in 2022)

These are only examples and are not a complete list of compatible devices.

Even if your device is not listed above, you can use GRAN EYE as long as the in-app AI Model Test completes successfully.

⚠️ Important Notes

Performance may vary even between devices of the same model depending on factors such as:

  • OS version

  • Device usage and condition

  • Available storage space

  • Network environment

Please update your device's OS and the GranDarts App to the latest versions before running the AI Model Test.

🔌 Power Requirements

For stable operation, GRAN EYE requires:

  • USB Type-C PD (Power Delivery) compatible charger

  • 12V output required

  • 25W or higher recommended

Recommended

  • Direct wall outlet connection

Avoid

  • USB Type-C adapters without 12V output

  • Non-PD USB Type-C adapters

  • USB Type-A power ports

  • Power strip USB ports

  • Mobile batteries

  • PC USB ports

Insufficient or incompatible power may cause unstable operation or prevent GRAN EYE from operating correctly.

Power adapter is not included.

📶 Connection Options

GRAN EYE supports:

  • Wi-Fi Connection

  • USB Connection*

USB Connection — 2025 Model

USB connection is available with the 2025 model, but a USB Type-A to Type-A cable and OTG adapter are required and must be purchased separately.

Note for iOS Users

USB connection is supported only on compatible iPad Pro and iPad Air models with M-series chips.

🔧 Installation Notes

  • Typical setup time: approximately 20 minutes

  • Cameras are mounted to the wall using brackets and screws

  • Echo is mounted to the wall using double-sided tape

  • Once installed, the wall-mounted design provides a stable setup

  • The dartboard can be rotated without moving the cameras

🔄 2025 Model vs. 2026 Model

The 2025 and 2026 GRAN EYE models provide the same scoring accuracy and core scoring performance.

The main difference is the installation system:

2025 Model

  • Wall-mounted cameras

  • Brackets and screws

  • Approximately 20-minute installation

2026 Model (G2)

  • Dartboard-mounted magnetic system

  • MagMount installation

  • Approximately 5-minute installation

  • Tool-free setup

The 2025 model can also be upgraded with the GRAN EYE Upgrade Kit for a setup equivalent to the 2026 model.
